Booster Mocha Shake, So Yummy You will Love It to the moon!
One day, I planned on going to Dunkin Donuts to get an ice coffee. I thought I’d go later to the coffee shop to get me a booster drink, lease that’s I call my ice coffees. My daughter and I took our lil MoJoe for a walk. MoJoe is our mixed Chihuahua. He’s gotten a little chubby and chunky.
He could barely fit through his doggy door. He needed a walk really bad and so did I, so its a “win, win” for me and MoJoe. I love our little Mojoe. Hmm! I’m not sure why I say he’s little, for a Chihuahua, he’s pretty big.
The lady who was giving her puppies away said her dog was a female Chihuahua but she didn’t know what the other dog was, only that he was a small dog to but a bit bigger than a Chihuahua. Anyway, enough about Mojoe. I was saying I had planned on getting me a booster coffee later. But I was looking around my pantry and thought about making a smoothie or shake.
I got some of the ingredients out on the counter and just started to put it all together. In the shake I also put about 1/4 cup of left over coffee and it was yummy. I love it so much, I wanted to share it here with you. The ingredients and recipe is all listed, even the machine I used.
- 1 cup ice
- 1/2 banana, peeled
- 1/4 cup brewed cup, chilled
- 1 1/2 tablespoons creamy almond butter
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/1 cup almond milk
- pinch of sea salt
- Place all of the ingredients into a 16-ounce Nutri-Ninja Cup in the order listed above starting with ice.
- Blend until smooth
Makes one serving in a 16oz. Ninja cup in just 5 minutes. Viola! A yummy chilled shake with a kick.
After having this shake, I didn’t need to go to Dunkin Donuts anymore. I like my shake so I had another one later in the afternoon. Besides I saved me some money and had all the ingredients on hand, which was awesome.
So just look around in your refrigerator and pantry to see what you have. Then start making super awesome edibles.
