Best Kitchen Tool To Make My Smoothies
I’m always looking for kitchen tools. In this case, its the Ninja Bullet. I have been using this tool for mostly smoothies and cake batters. I love how I can mix a pancake batter in the larger one and use the lid to easily poor out some batter into the hot pan.
I’ve also used it to make scramble egg mix to make an omelet. I know there are other ways to mix an omelet but I love using the ninja.
There are so many other machines and tools to use to mix some recipes. But using the Ninja has made working in the kitchen much more productive and easier.
The Ninja is also dishwasher friendly but I hand wash all of my dishes. The joy of getting my hands into water has always been fun plus I get to be with my daughter in the kitchen as we clean up after each meal.
I want to tell you a lil tiny story
One morning, I wanted to go to Dunkin Donuts to get an ice coffee. I thought I’d go later to get my BOOSTER drink, lease that’s what I call my ice coffees.
My daughter and I took our lil MoJoe for a walk, first. MoJoe is our mixed Chihuahua, whose gotten a little chubby and chunky. Taking him for a walk was the best for him and me. lol!
He could barely fit through his doggy door. He needed a walk really bad. I love our little Mojoe. Hmm! I’m not sure why I say he’s little, for a Chihuahua, he’s pretty big. (The lady who was giving her puppies away said her dog was a female Chihuahua but she didn’t know what the other dog was, only that he was a small dog to but a bit bigger than a Chihuahua.)
Anyway, enough about Mojoe. I was saying I had planned on getting me a booster iced coffee later. As I was looking around my pantry, I thought of t making a smoothie instead. It looked like I have some ingredients to make one anyway. .
I placed all of the ingredients out on the counter and just started to put it all together. I also put about 1/4 cup of left over coffee into my smoothie and it was yummy. I loved it so much, I wanted to share it here with you. The ingredients and recipe is all listed, even the machine I used. I hope you like it. Let me know by commenting below.
- 1 cup ice
- 1/2 banana, peeled
- 1/4 cup brewed cup, chilled
- 1 1/2 tablespoons creamy almond butter
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/1 cup almond milk
- pinch of sea salt
- Place all of the ingredients into a 16-ounce Nutri-Ninja Cup in the order listed above starting with ice.
- Blend until smooth
Makes one serving in a 16oz. Ninja cup in just 5 minutes. Viola! A yummy chilled shake with a kick.
After having this shake, I didn’t need to go to Dunkin Donuts anymore. I like my shake so I had another one later in the afternoon. Besides I saved me some money and had all the ingredients on hand, which was awesome.
So just look around in your refrigerator and pantry to see what you have. Then start making super awesome edibles.
